On the back of the 1994 FIFA World Cup hosted by the USA, the inception of the 1996 domestic USA Major League Soccer competition has continued to grow from strength to strength. Recently signing a long-term deal with Apple TV, the league remains the fastest growing league in world soccer.
Although there are many suggested moments through the years that will point towards the MLS growth, none are more so defining than the historical moment in 2007 when ‘David Beckham’ moved to LA Galaxy.
Diving slightly deeper into the history of this famous club, LA Galaxy, or Los Angeles Galaxy, are an American professional soccer club competing in aforementioned Major League Soccer (MLS), as a member of the Western Conference.
The club has successfully continued to be one of the league’s 10 charter members, having been founded in 1994 where their early home games were played in the famous Rose Bowl, Pasadena in California.
