Alessandro Lonero is a strength & conditioning specialist and performance practitioner with a strong track record in futsal and soccer, focusing on core strength development and its transfer to on-pitch performance.
He currently works as a freelance S&C consultant with ASD Sandro Abate Five Soccer (Aug 2024–present), Cagliari Futsal Femminile (Jun 2023–present), and Kick Off Milano C5 (Aug 2022–present), supporting physical preparation, robustness, and performance outputs across the competitive season.
Previously, he held full-time leadership roles including Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at ASD Sandro Abate Five Soccer (Aug 2020–Jun 2022), Real Rieti Calcio a 5 (Sep 2019–Jun 2020), and Napoli Calcio a 5 (Aug 2018–Jul 2019). He also served as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at 360GG Monastir (Aug 2022–Jun 2023), adding experience in first-team environments beyond Italy. Earlier in his career, he worked as Head Athletic Trainer at Scandicci Calcio (Oct 2017–Jun 2018), delivering fitness oversight, corrective strategies, and injury-prevention programming.
He is also the Co-founder of PerformanceLab (Mar 2016–present), supporting applied performance services across football codes.
Academically, he holds training in sport science from Università degli Studi di Firenze and a master’s degree in human nutrition from Università Telematica San Raffaele, strengthening his applied approach to performance with foundations in both conditioning and athlete health. He works in Italian, English, and Spanish.
