Alper Çıkıkcı is a Turkish strength & conditioning coach, lecturer, and researcher specialising in soccer physiology and training, with extensive experience across elite academies and performance environments.
He currently works as Strength & Conditioning Coach with the youth teams at Beşiktaş J.K. (Sep 2025–present), adding to previous seasonal roles at the club (May 2019–May 2021; Jul 2022–Jun 2023). He has also held performance roles at Galatasaray S.K. (Sep 2021–Jul 2022) and Bursaspor (Oct 2023–Mar 2024), supporting physical development and soccer-specific conditioning in high-pressure settings.
Alongside club work, he serves as a Lecturer with ISSPF (Jan 2020–present), contributing applied education in soccer-specific training and training science principles. He also supports coach development as an Education Coordinator / Educator at İstanbul Fitness Academy (Oct 2020–present), and has taught as a University Lecturer at İstanbul Nişantaşı Üniversitesi (Mar 2024–Sep 2024; Dec 2024–present).
In the sports-tech space, he is Türkiye Ambassador for Ultrax (Oct 2024–present), helping bridge performance practice with modern monitoring and athlete-development tools.
Academically, he is based at Marmara University (Institute of Health Sciences – Kinesiology & Training Sciences), with postgraduate training in movement/training sciences and ongoing doctoral work. He works in Turkish and English, supporting both practical delivery and education across diverse staff groups.
