Henrik Schjøth is a data-driven football analyst and coach whose work blends recruitment intelligence, performance analysis, and applied data science with a strong foundation in education and communication. Since November 2025, he has contributed to ISSPF as a Guest Lecturer, developing content that helps coaches, analysts, and performance staff use data more effectively in real-world football decision-making. His ISSPF lectures focus on practical, applied themes: player profiling and data scouting (case study approach), identifying player roles using data science, and using data to support the coach recruitment process—all designed to connect analytics to the game model and the realities of recruitment.
In professional football, Schjøth gained direct recruitment experience through a Data Scout with Rosenborg BK (April 2025–November 2025). In that role, he combined data and video to identify players for first-team consideration, aligning scouting recommendations with Rosenborg’s recruitment strategy and playing philosophy. He has also worked on the performance side as Analysis Lead at Ullern Fotball (May 2024–November 2024), where he was responsible for set-piece analysis, opposition and self-analysis, and the practical delivery of analysis-led work on the pitch—using video as a key tool to improve team preparation and learning.
Alongside football, Schjøth brings a strong education background. He worked as a teacher (Lektor med tilleggsutdanning) with Bærum kommune (August 2016–June 2024), and completed a Master’s degree at OsloMet in school-focused educational science (August 2019–June 2022), with mathematics didactics as the main area. He also holds a four-year teacher education qualification from NTNU (August 2012–June 2016), covering pedagogy and subjects including mathematics and science. To strengthen his technical toolkit, he also completed a programming course in Python at NTNU (August 2024–December 2024), supporting his development in data analysis and automation for scouting and performance workflows.
Overall, Schjøth’s profile fits the modern “hybrid” analyst: comfortable working across data, video, and coaching language, and focused on building recruitment and analysis processes that are aligned to strategy, roles, and on-pitch behaviours.
